Fall Out Boy – Infinity on High
I’m Glad that I waited to review this album. I must admit that the first time I listened to it, I skipped through most of the songs, and the ones I did listen to I really didn’t like that much. Same goes for the single “This ain’t a scene it’s an arms race”. It left a sour taste in my mouth, and reminded me of the Backstreet Boys. But I gave it another chance, and to tell you the truth, the album in it’s entirety has grown on me substantialy.
I feel like a 15 year old girl when I say that I like this album, but it’s the absolute truth. It reminds me of the music I used to listen to in highschool, and it’s just catchy fun music. “Thanks for the Memories”, and “Don’t you know who i think i am” are two standout tracks for me. The only thing I don’t like about this album is the same thing I didn’t like about their last album… The song titles are too long, and not half as “cool” as I think they are intended to be, but I forgot, this album is not intended for 24 year old males.
